12:22 is a new and ongoing series that explores ideas of inner power, strength and individual spirituality through a surrealistic viewpoint. Each piece is being interwoven through a bigger narrative where the viewer journeys with a girl who is forced to face the unhealed portions of herself head on and in the process, she learns to embrace her power in navigating the unknown.

The Unattainable Dream

And it came to pass that the girl realized she could no longer escape herself. If she wanted to achieve her dreams, it would have to start from within. She would need to heal whatever was broken. "Broken" the girl thought to herself. "Nothing is broken, but hurting, maybe?"

"After all, I can't quite figure out why I can't see my own reflection in the smokey mirror."

"Why I run away from my power"

"Or...Even"

"Why I do not like to be seen"

"But where to start?" The girl thought to herself. "There are too many things to heal, too many things to fix"

"It's overwhelming to think about"

This was becoming more than achieving a dream, it was overcoming a situation.

Intuition

The girl didn't know where to start, but she knew she had to start somewhere.

So she set out following her own guiding light, which she called her intuition.

She knew that in following her light, she would need to be brave and have trust.

For it wasn't herself that the girl had a hard time trusting but it was the Universe.

See, the girl was brave to face uncertainty. She knew that she could pick herself up if things went wrong.

But something was different this time.

When things started to fall apart, it wasn't the girl who picked herself up, it was God.

This time there would be no forging ahead, if she wanted to get anywhere she would need to trust that God's light would help get her there.
